Andrew KhooFounder and Chief Executive of New Hope Community Services
Pastor Andrew Khoo is the Founder of New Hope Community Services, a social service agency serving the displaced and disadvantaged. Pastor Andrew’s conviction to connect God’s love with community led him to start New Hope Community Services in 2003 and he has served as its Chief Executive Officer till today. In recognition of his contributions to the sector, he was appointed as a Social Service Fellow by NCSS in July 2021. Beyond the social service, Pastor Andrew has been a grassroots and community leader since 2006. He was most recently appointed as Chairman of the Harmony Circles Coordinating Council by MCCY, and awarded The Public Service Medal for his service as Chairman of the Chong Pang Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circle (IRCC).
Edric SngFounder and Editor of Salt&Light and Thir.st
Edric Sng is passionate about digital discipleship and outreach to a digital generation. He is the founder and Editor of Saltandlight.sg and Thir.st – as well as the evangelistic websites StoriesofHope.sg and 还好吗 hhm.sg. He previously built and ran the digital newsrooms at Mediacorp’s Channel NewsAsia and the TODAY newspaper, and was also the editor of a scuba diving magazine. Edric is a father to five, and a husband to one.
Ho Peng KeeFormer Senior Minister of State for Law and Home Affairs
Ho Peng Kee is an elder at Mt Carmel Bible-Presbyterian Church. He became a Member of Parliament in 1991 and retired from politics in 2011 as Senior Minister of State for Law and Home Affairs. Since then, he has promoted causes such as voluntarism, corporate philanthropy, mediation, sports, galvanising youth and countering children’s cancer. Before politics, he taught at the NUS Law Faculty (1979-1993). He has published his memoirs, “My Journey in Politics”, “Communing with God: Prayer of the 3 Ps” and was the chief editor of two volumes on Men for Christ: Living Out Our Faith.
Samuel RheeChairman and Chief Investment Officer of Endowus
Samuel heads the Endowus Group Investment Office and is responsible for the company’s asset allocation and investment selection across all offerings. He is a firm believer that individuals should have access to the same knowledge and resources that are made available to institutional investors. Under his leadership, Endowus seeks to solve the biggest generational challenge of retirement adequacy by providing every investor with good advice, access to great products, at low, fair and transparent costs.
